The Mission Statement

I started off with a bang but I think I need to establish what I will be doing here in the weeks ahead. My plan is to catch up with you one story at a time.  I plan to edit and offer some insight in some of my favorite posts. I enjoy your feedback both negative and positive. It helps me get better so feel free to ask questions about my post as we move forward. My next event will be @VLIVE in Chicago, Illinois on July 18th. I will give a review of the club as well complete overview of DJ Steve Aoki's set. This should be a great night out.  DJ Aoki is one of the hottest DJs in the world right now. I am looking forward to this event and the music. The future is whatever I choose to make it. I am not sure where this is all going to go.  I just want to write it as I live.  Expect some surprises with some dramatic turns and twists as I continue to evolve as person. I think I have ignored politics for too long. I think there a great deal of injustice going on right now and it is an area I plan to explore. I may get serious from time to time but ultimately I want to have some fun. My dream is seeing your dreams come true as we continue to write the history of Generation Undefined.

The King of Rhythm and Blues

The Milwaukee Amphitheater was fully charged last night for Usher Raymond's royal performance at the SummerFest. You can feel the sexual build up just minutes before Usher's entrance. Usher entered the stage dressed in a black leather coat that resembled something Michael Jackson would wear if he was the King of Pop in 2010. Usher started the show with my one of my favorite songs and I was CAUGHT UP instantly. Usher is short guy with a huge stage presence. They ladies love him. He was untouchable even from the front row but I did get an unexpected taste of the sweat of Usher's jaw dropping choreography has he splashed the front row with his perspiration. It was pretty gross. I might have been more pissed off if it was Ja Rule or Heavy D sweat but I couldn’t stay made at Usher. He seemed to get the heads of the guys in the crowd present company included and the dude can dance.  He was inches away from me when he decided to take a drink of water then pour it all over himself. He tossed the rest of the bottle to a girl in the next section. I was waiting for panties to go flying air when Usher performed his new tracks like There Goes My Baby and Hey Daddy. The screams from the ladies were on a pitch that could have shattered the lenses off most of the glasses. I was prepared. The best track he performed was a song that I don't have a name for. I am not sure if it was new or a cover but when this track hits the internet it will make OMG seem so 2000 & late.  The lyrics were, “I got the mic and I am goanna dance,” I will follow up on the track when I find it. The sound was great for an outdoor venue. The best comparison would be The Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois but a tad bit smaller. The staff was very friendly they took pictures and mingled well with the guests. I did feel under-dressed for my seat. I kept it real to the Hipster Kids by rocking my Hyper Crush T-Shirt to help out the promotion of the group. I should have worn I tie. I rubbed elbows with Milwaukee Bucks Management. The front row is a free pass into who to know when you go see a superstar of the magnitude of Usher. I think once I convinced myself that I did belonged there I was good.  The gentlemen next to me looked like me at a wrestling show. His eyes weren't glued to the performers, stage, and lighting because he was in full Mack Daddy mode. Girls Girls Girls Girls. I turned my head and it felt like all the eyes were on me. Who am I? I am the 8R8 just a writer trying to make my name but this was not the show. It was extremely fun though but with the Front Row Ticket comes great responsibility. The guy next to me didn't know he was showing me how to pimp out the front row and I will take what I learned into consideration and maybe score some groupie hoes. I stood professional and stuck to the plan? I am learning and I was eating all the knowledge up. I am fan of music and pop culture first. My eyes were glued to Usher.  I have more respect for Usher now. The energy he generates during his show is uncanny. He gave the ladies just enough of everything they could possibly want from his show. When he lifted his shirt up or touched his crouch area the women went nuts. I have been to a KC & JO JO show so I can differentiate Class VS Raunchiness. Usher was all class. I felt like a fan again when he sung classics like Think of You and Let it Burn. Those two songs play a significant role in the soundtrack of my life. I had to sing along but every time Usher came near me I saw a little bit of how much soul he puts into everything. I respect that. The King of R&B hands down is Usher Raymond. Chicago I love you more than any other place in the world but we know all the bullshit R. Kelly has done. We have seen the tape and I think Usher wins the Crown by default because of what’s under the rug of Robert Kelly. The show ended with an encore of OMG that left Milwaukee dancing through the Music Festival with smiles of wow. I witnessed something special tonight on Level of Real with that Universal Appeal. Take that Queen Latifah but that’s another story.
